Welcome To PosstEx
The PosstEx program offers clients with neurological conditions in-person, home exercise programs, and support groups following discharge from therapeutic intervention, in addition to providing continuing education credits for medical exercise specialists on the principles of exercise, motor control, learning, and development to stimulate positive physiologic adaptation of the seven basic human movement patterns critical for daily living, recreational activities, and critical job demand for a return to work.
ARE YOU A STROKE SURVIVOR DISCHARGED FROM THERAPY WITH A HOME EXERCISE PROGRAM?
What’s the next step on your road to recovery?
Due to insurance coverage limitations, stroke survivors and caregivers seek alternatives for continued recovery following discharge from therapy services. Rehab can not just be the default, you must transition to a performance-based model that includes higher-level adaptive physical activity and that also matches the critical job demands for those returning to the workforce. PosstEx is the next step in managing residual movement dysfunction and reducing co-morbidities risk.
ARE YOU A MEDICAL EXERCISE TRAINER THAT WANTS TO IMPROVE YOUR ASSESSMENT & PROGRAM DESIGN FOR A CLIENT WITH NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS?
After discharge from therapy, your client with a neurological condition (stroke, Parkison, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries) is looking for the next step to improve their quality of life via structured exercise intervention.
PosstEd can provide medical exercise professionals with online and in-person workshops to help your clients transition to a performance-based model of training using Functional Assessment, SMART Goals, Needs Analysis, and Program Design.
We are committed to maintaining the professional standards and scope of practice of the Medical Exercise Training Institute and continuing education guidelines for certification renewal for MES, PRCS, and MEPDs.
